Born on Chicago's South Side, Desiree watched neighbors fight disinvestment and pollution. She studied leadership to heal those wounds, yet corporate halls still hissed with bias. During a funding crisis in Tacoma she fused ancestral wisdom with biotech, creating Empyra-an empathy-charged antidote. When the Redline Cartel siphoned resources, she stepped forward as Empyra.
